The short version
We count visits to our website anonymously so we can see what's working. If you press Accept on our banner, we also keep a small code in your browser so our team can recognise you when you get in touch, and our adverts can find you on other sites. Press Reject and you stay anonymous. You can change your choice below at any time.
For every visitor: anonymous statistics
Our own system, run on our own computer (not Google), notes the pages you view, how long you spend on them, which site sent you here, whether you're on a phone or a computer, and taps on our phone, WhatsApp or email buttons. It stores nothing in your browser and keeps no IP address: a visitor is counted with a code that changes every day and can't be traced back to you. We use this only to improve our website and adverts. You can switch it off below.
Our website host, Cloudflare, may set a strictly necessary security cookie to protect the site from abuse. We also remember your Accept or Reject choice, so we don't ask again.
If you press Accept
- A visitor code is kept in your browser. If you then send us an enquiry, or open a link we've sent you, the cars and pages you've looked at go on our record of your enquiry, so our team can help with what you're actually interested in. It's kept with your enquiry under our privacy notice.
- Advertising: if we run adverts with Meta (Facebook, Instagram) or Google, their tags load so our adverts can be shown to you on their sites and we can see which adverts work. Those companies' own policies apply: Meta, Google.
Other services
- Google Maps: the map on our pages only loads when you choose to show it. Once it loads, Google may set its own cookies. The "Get directions" link opens Google Maps in a new tab instead.
- WhatsApp: if you message us through WhatsApp, you leave our site and WhatsApp's own policies apply.
