How sourcing works

From your wish list to your driveway

  1. Tell us what you’re after

    The car, the years you’d consider, your budget and anything you must have.

  2. We search

    We look for the right car for you, including our new arrivals before they’re advertised.

  3. We call you

    When we find a match, we tell you about it first, with the details and the price.

  4. We prepare it

    Your car is checked and prepared to the Assured Standard, like every car we sell.

  5. Collect or delivered

    Collect from our showroom, or we deliver it to your driveway.

What to tell us

The more we know, the better the match. Tell us:

  • The make and model, and the years you’d consider
  • Body shape and number of doors
  • Manual or automatic
  • Your budget
  • Anything you must have, or can’t have

How we match you

  • The right gearboxWe’ll never offer a manual to someone who wants an automatic.
  • Your budgetAt or near it. We’ll only suggest going up to £200 over when the car’s worth it: newer, or lower miles.

Sourcing questions

Will you only offer me exact matches?

We match on the model, generation, body shape and gearbox you asked for, at or near your budget. If something close comes in that we think is worth a look, we’ll tell you why.

What if the right car is a little over my budget?

We’ll only suggest going over, by up to £200, when the car justifies it: for example, it’s newer or has lower miles. It’s always your choice.

I asked about a car that’s already sold. What now?

Tell us, and we’ll treat it as a sourcing request: we’ll look for one like it and get in touch when a match comes in.

Is a sourced car covered by the Assured Standard?

Yes. It’s checked and prepared like every car we sell, with a 75-point health check, a minimum of 9 months’ MOT and at least a 3-month warranty.

Can I part-exchange my current car?

Yes. Tell us about it when you ask us to source a car and we’ll value it, subject to seeing it. How part-exchange works.
