What we collect

We only collect what we need to help you find, buy and receive a car:

Contact details: your name, phone number and, if you give it, your email address.
Your enquiry: the car you're interested in, your message, and the day and time you'd like for a viewing.
Part-exchange details: your car's registration and mileage, if you ask us to value it.
Delivery details: your postcode for a delivery quote and, if you buy, your delivery address.
Sourcing details: the car you're after and your budget, if you ask us to find one.
Sale records: if you buy from us, the details needed for the sale, the paperwork, any warranty and the handover.
Messages: anything you send us by phone, email or WhatsApp.
How you use our website: the pages and cars you look at and for how long. Counted anonymously for everyone; linked to your enquiry only if you pressed Accept on our cookie banner, or when you send us an enquiry (the pages you viewed on that visit).

The website itself doesn't keep your details: when you send an enquiry it goes straight to our own customer system. Our website statistics are our own, kept on our own computer, and don't identify you unless you choose to be remembered (see our cookie notice).

How we use it

To answer your enquiry and arrange viewings, part-exchange valuations, delivery quotes and reservations. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before a contract, and our legitimate interest in replying to people who contact us.
To sell and deliver your car, including any warranty you choose. Our lawful basis is performing our contract with you.
To keep records we're required to keep, such as sales and accounting records. Our lawful basis is our legal obligations.
To follow up on an enquiry, for example to let you know when a similar car comes in. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in helping you find a car. You can ask us to stop at any time and we will.
To help with the cars you're interested in: the pages and cars you looked at on our website are kept with your enquiry, so our team can follow up on what you actually viewed. Our lawful basis is your consent (Accept on our banner) or, for the visit when you send an enquiry, our legitimate interest in answering it well.
Advertising: if you pressed Accept, Meta and Google may show you our adverts on their sites. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you can withdraw on our cookie notice.

We never sell your information. We only share it where needed to do what you've asked:

Assured Fleet Management Ltd, our logistics partner, if we deliver your car.
Warranty providers, if you take out a warranty.
Finance providers, only if you ask us to help you apply for finance.
Payment providers, to take a deposit or payment.
Service providers who run our systems, such as our website host (Cloudflare) and WhatsApp (Meta) if you message us there. Some of them may process data outside the UK, with the safeguards UK law requires.
Authorities, where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't lead to a sale: period to be confirmed.
Sale records: period to be confirmed.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

give you a copy of the information we hold about you;
correct anything that's wrong;
delete your information, where we don't need to keep it;
stop or limit how we use it, including stopping any follow-ups;
pass it to you or another organisation in a usable format.
